How can we help you?

We provide asbestos services that help clients identify and manage asbestos-containing materials. Our asbestos survey aims to locate, as much as possible, the type, condition, and extent of any suspect ACMs in the building. The survey follows the HSE guidance note HSG264 and includes the following types:

Asbestos Management Survey

Formerly known as a Type 2 survey, an Asbestos Management Survey would be carried out to locate Asbestos-Containing Materials and suspected ACMs in the building to the best extent possible. This survey helps duty-holders understand the condition of ACMs and develop effective management strategies. An Asbestos Management Survey helps you remain compliant.

Pre-Refurbishment Asbestos Survey

Replacing the old Type 3 survey, the Pre-Refurbishment Asbestos Survey is essential before any refurbishment work is carried out. This survey identifies ACMs that might be disturbed during the refurbishment process, ensuring the safety of workers and preventing the release of asbestos fibres into the air.

Pre-Demolition Asbestos Survey

Similar to the Pre-Refurbishment Asbestos Survey, the Pre-Demolition Asbestos Survey is necessary before demolition. This survey identifies ACMs that may be present in the building and ensures that appropriate measures are taken to manage the risks associated with asbestos exposure during demolition

Asbestos Re-inspection Services

Once ACMs have been identified, the duty holder must regularly inspect these materials, at least annually, and create a comprehensive Management Plan. Asbestos re-inspection services help ensure that ACMs are monitored and managed effectively, minimising the risk of exposure.

The type of asbestos survey needed will depend on your property's requirements and the age and use of the buildings. This is established during the survey planning phase. We are happy to answer any questions regarding asbestos surveys that you may have.

Our asbestos surveyors hold the P402 certificate for asbestos surveys and the P405 certificate for managing Asbestos in buildings. Each asbestos surveyor has at least ten years of surveying experience and is audited in line with in-house quality systems.
